On August 10, 2024, Elizabeth and Jane reunited in uptown Saint John. What Elizabeth didn’t yet know was that a tall, handsome man—with a man bun, a bright patterned shirt, and an outback hat—was about to change her life.

What followed could only be described as an unforgettable first date. Between hiking, swimming, and beginning to truly get to know one another, something special took root. The rest of the summer unfolded with ease as their connection deepened, and they found themselves falling in love along the Kingston Peninsula.

As summer gently faded into fall, their love continued to grow—steady and natural. Their days were filled with road trips, concerts, home-cooked meals, bowling nights, hikes, and the joy of meeting each other’s friends and families.

Life together began to feel effortless, as their worlds softly intertwined.

By the time Christmas arrived, they celebrated with a traditional Vickers gathering—full of food, laughter, and warmth. Soon after, they travelled to Athens, Ontario, where Elizabeth met the rest of the Rasenberg family, filling in a piece that had been waiting to fall into place.

Through it all, Elizabeth and Kristian have become not only partners, but best friends—steady, joyful, and deeply connected. And as their journey continues, this is only the beginning of a story that is truly theirs.
